I have a full set of Henckels International Classic knives, and I really like them...except the paring knife. Paring knives are for working on food that you're holding in your hand (think peeling an apple) or doing detailed or small cutting work. There's no need for a four-inch blade to peel an apple or for any other hand-held purpose, and the extra length makes it harder to use than a shorter knife. Henckels International's other lines (Forged Synergy and Forged Premio) come with three-inch paring knives; why not the Classic line?

Other than the length, the knife is great--I love the quality of these knives. I have had this knife for about 8 years now, and it looks like new, holds an edge well, and sharpens up nicely on my diamond sharpening steel, just like the rest of the Henckels International Classic knives.

I really like this weather station. Easy to set up, has nice features and is reasonably priced. Don't particularly like the smiley, not smiley face but you can ignore that. The on line manual is somewhat difficult to understand and it takes a while to go through the manual settings but eventually you just set it and forget it. Nice unit.

Worked Ok to trim my 30 feet of boxwood hedge and also edge of lawn. I found the safety switch which you must old down in conjunction with the trigger awkwardly placed. My husband and I have been drinking Senseo coffee for over 6 years. It costs more than drip coffee (though not as expensive as Tassimo and Keurig) but we enjoy the convenience of having a fresh cup at a moment's notice (and we never throw coffee down the drain).

I buy Senseo pods from Amazon on the "subscribe and save" program, automatically sent every 4 weeks. We get the "Origins Variety Pack" because we enjoy robust coffees and are less fond of the flavored types. Senseo product availability and selection are limited in our local stores, so this way we get what we want, sent to our doorstep, at a price that beats retail and grocery stores.

The Senseo pods seem more environmentally-friendly than Keurig as they involve no plastic and I can put them in our compost pile.

I brought the glass version with me on a deployment to Iraq. 4 30-40 year old SNCOs became increasingly dependent on the daily buzz provided by the amazing coffee this thing produced. Then one day one of our young guys was yanking on the gun rack we used as a coffee bar like he was a freaking gorilla and knocked it off. We thought about throwing him over the fence and we told him we would consider it more and more as the coffee-less days went on. He ordered the plasic shatter proof version (probably to be a smart@ass) and when it showed up we were pretty mad. I thought the plastic would make the coffee taste funny--wrong. This thing really works fantastically AND it's shatter-proof! He's still not allowed in the office, but if he was he would see 4 30-40 year old SNCOs happily chugging coffee.
I use one of those hot-water-heater-pitcher-things and stir the coffee as I pour the water in. I leave it for about 4 minutes and pour a little bit into each cup until it's empty.

I consider myself to be very careful with glass, but I broke the glass press I used daily by pouring hot water in it like I had done many times before; always used a spoon to absorb the first shock of hot water (not boiling) I think the glass ones are good for so many uses and then they crack. I also like the pour through strainer molded into the lid of this press. It catches any grounds that may get by the bottom strainer. Instruction say to use coarse grind. I get by with a big bag of regular grind that I get at the hundred dollar club; stir it one more time before pressing. Makes it easier to depress the plunger. I use it to fill my Thermos Bottle which is one Liter. The shatterproof beaker is one liter, but this is a little misleading since it won't quite make one liter of coffee; must top off with hot water.

Background: I have had some experience with coffee makers - I used the Mr. Coffee TF5 4-Cup Switch Coffeemaker, Black for a while, then the Mr. Coffee CG12 12-Cup Switch Coffeemaker, White, as well as an older, double-walled insulated version of a Bodum french press and a Nespresso CitiZ C110 Espresso Maker, Red.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from this french press. It looks cheap and simple, and there's no double-insulation. However, I was blown away for two reasons: 1) even with an inconsistent grind thanks to my blade grinder, none of the grinds seeped into my coffee and 2) my coffee had a fricking crema on top, one that was completely MIA with my 12-cup drip coffeemaker.

The only drawback is that I sensed an edge of bitterness to my coffee that wasn't present with my drip filtered coffee. I expected the glass to not insulate very well, but it did a decent job.

Overall, very pleased.

I've had 1 pair of SE320's and two pair of SE530's, and now I love the flatter form factor and stock cables and connector scheme of the SE535's, but the CBL-M+-K, which I need for travel in order to control my phone on the go, which is also my music and podcast library, is just crap. I do wear them over the ear in the traditional style, and I wear glasses, and the cacble casing is so cheap and thin they have stripped away and I have had to use electrical tape to reinforce them until now, when I have to order another cable. Shure needs to improve this CRAPPY WEAK LINK that must be doing a something like a 10000% markup over cost, in their otherwise wonderful system for ultimate mobile and stationary listening.

Like the others here I am disappointed by the flimsy thin cable. I purchased these to go with the just purchased SE315 and they are perhaps my 4th or 5th pair of Shure earbuds. Great buds, excellent fit but the cables have failed on every pair. And now arrives these rather expensive extremely thin gauge cables. Come on Shure...all that great sound engineering for naught when you can't get the cables right.

shure needs to be ashamed of these, the build quailty resembles the same build quality of what they are supposed to replace. the detachable line was built to address frayed wires yet how do you buy a 500$ pair of shure 535's that have plastic ear molding and kevlar wiring and yet have to buy these piss poor wires for mobile use?

for what you charge, it should have been the equal of the wiring you get with the 535's with the addition of the mobile control pod
